B.1948. I live in the Alpes Maritimes region of Southern France. I first worked as an Architect, then as a graphic designer specializing in computer graphics. Ironically, because I earn my living from computers, I discovered watercolour is what I like best fairly late in life. It is a very exciting medium, where skill and imagination can play with the very accidental event of pigments being absorbed on paper. When I paint I feel I am trying to control an accident. It’s fun. I don’t know what influences my work. Artists whose work I admire include Alphonse Mucha, Jules Cheret and Jean-Gabriel Domergue – all prolific painters of women. I also love American pinup artists of the 40s and 50s. I plan to have a site soon and hope maybe to sell my
watercolours.
